The Development of an International Showcase/Embassy Area in Sridham Mayapur, India (Preliminary Plan)

Sridham Mayapura is an important centre of spiritual culture in India, being the birth place of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. In recent years, the glories of Mayapur and teachings of Sri Caitanya have regained their significance in India's cultural life, and not only there but all over the world.

Srila Prabhupada, the founder acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, ISKCON, had a magnificent vision for the future of Mayapur and its roles as a cynasure for the spiritual revival of the entire world. This exhibition takes the visitor on an exciting journey, into the past of Mayapur – as well as to the future, and shows how the Vedic knowledge of India is now changing the lives of millions of people all over the world thanks to the teachings of Srila Prabhupada. . . .

The Prabhupada Avenue

The "gateway" to the magnificient Temple of Vedic Planetarium will be the Prabhupada Avenue, between the Prabhupda Samadhi and the Temple. This "United Nations of the Spiritual  World" will be an area of an international flair, with embassies, exhibitions, restaurants and shops, giving the visitor an unforgetable experience of a universal Vedic culture, made available to every corner of the world by Srila Prabhupada. . . .
